Check-in on Phase 6b tasks

• Visualization
  • Billy started working on brush (selection of data across multiple charts) support in SimWrapper
  • Data summarization procedure is proceeding. Code and associated expression files are being created to specify summary outputs. Will review member specific data visualization requests.
  • Side by side comparison between two model runs (or compared to observed data) would be a useful feature
  • Idea is to add visualizer into test system
• Airspeed Velocity
  • Test models are currently being run and benchmarked
  • New repository is going to added to ActivitySim and a finalized pull request for this work will hopefully be made before Thanksgiving.
• Vehicle type model
  • Will implement option 2 (choice model predicts bodytype * age, subsequent sampling from distribution assigns fuel type) and option 4 (choice model predicts bodytype * age * fueltype)
  • Estimation functionality will be included, but re-estimation with NHTS data will not be performed because the NHTS data is not fully consistent with ActivitySim format.
  • An auto calibration feature could be created for the vehicle choice models, but not within the current scope

Other

• Discussion of restarting pipeline
  • Running a specific model without running upstream models could be a good test of individual models to compare to other CTRAMP models, etc.
  • Could be useful for estimation mode where extensive data cleaning is necessary for some models but perhaps not for others.
