5b/6a Task 1 Project Management (milestone)

• Toll transponder ownership model
  • Not currently prioritized for development but would be good to add for equity considerations
  • SANDAG has a model that could be implemented
  • In the long run, transponders may go away with advances in payment technology via cars and/or apps
• Discuss draft contracts
  • Will revise language so agencies sound less helpless
  • Need to add supersedes language
  • Each agency can sign up for a different number of years
  • Can withdraw from agreement with 30 days notice
  • Want to do payments annually
  • Goal is to align scope with agency contribution period with AMPO fiscal year - everything on July to July timeframe
  • MetCouncil may transition from Jan to Jan by doing a Jan to July transition agreement
  • Please review when you get a chance
• Bench contracts
  • Should be coming soon as Joe approved earlier this week
  • Partners are having a partners only scoping and planning session soon
  • Plan will be for bench to compete for task orders by writing a short 1 to 2 page response with scope, schedule, and budget
  • When task orders assigned, contractor contract will be amended in an appendix
  • There are new task orders since the 6b scoping exercise: more inclusive overall project management and factoring-out orca
  • Likely release task orders mid Feb with selection early March
  • There are no guarantees for work - work will be contracted based on responsiveness to task order requirements
  • The tech and admin call will be open to all bench members. We'll invite them to this call once under contract.
• Ohio DOT will be signing on with July 1 start

5b Task 2 Strategic Planning (milestone)

• Reviewed V3 and still need to revise

6a Task 2 Complete Estimation Mode (milestone)

• I'm reviewing and finishing the updated estimation examples
• Will merge in Newman's updates too
• Then we'll create additional estimation notebooks for the other core example model submodels like scoped
• Additional improvements can come in a later task based on user feedback, for example dynamically creating notebooks
• I'll give a mini tutorial at an upcoming meeting

6a Task 3 Telecommute Model in Cooperation with SEMCOG (milestone)

• SEMCOG working on setting it up

6a Task 4 Transit Pass Ownership Model in Cooperation with SEMCOG (milestone)

• Joel working on design to share next week
• Please share design ahead of time so partners have time to digest

6a Task 5 Performance Enhancements (milestone)

• Jeff setting up ARC model to get timing statements
• Please share findings ahead of time so partners have time to digest
• Moving from Python 2 to 3 also slowed down the model and so that's on the list for improvements investigation as well
• We're probably looking at 2 or 3 improvements given task budget
• Let's try to keep this task in each round of work so we're constantly improving performance
