What steps will reproduce the problem?

1. Following Steps in getting code http://dev.chromium.org/developers/how-tos/install-depot-tools and
2. run gclient config http://dart.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/deps/all.deps and
   gclient sync
3. on error run gclient runhooks

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
finishing the sync and produce the project to build on VS2010

This appears to be happening because Windows paths use \ rather than /. In the generated file compiler\closure_compiler_sources.gypi the backslashes are not escaped.

In the file compiler\generate_source_list.py, change line 56 from:

''' out.write(" '%s/%s',\n" % (self.path, filename))'''

to:

''' out.write(" '%s/%s',\n" % (self.path, filename.replace('', '/')))'''

This will allow the sync to complete.

I actually had a fix for this on my Windows VM; but the build will continue to fail after this step. I'll will revive my VM and look into it.
