My Recording Couldn't Upload

If you try to upload a clip and see a notice that says 'Upload Failed', then there was a problem with the application's attempt to upload the video to the server.

A common reason for this error is that the recorded video exceeds the allowed size for uploads. Practically speaking, this means the video was too long. Unfortunately, attempting to upload again will not work. You will have to reload the page and record a shorter clip (or try one of the tips below).

Some things you can do if you see this error.

• Please file a bug report. Situations like this are hopefully extremely rare, but we still want to know about them.
• If you happen to be using Safari, try a different browser, like Chrome or Firefox. Safari generates videos that are about twice as large as other major browsers. Chances are, a video that fails in Safari would upload just fine in another browser.
