In a roundtable message, multiple speakers respond to a single question or topic.
It's useful for strcutured meetings and status updates—such at a standup meeting. This message type can also be used help the group get to know each other by asking fun icebreaker questions.
# | Element | Description |
---|---|---|
1 | Choose a topic | Select a topic for your participants to speak about. You can choose a custom topic, or choose from a list of status update questions, or icebreaker questions. |
2 | Notes for speakers | You can add notes and instructions for the people recording a clip. For example, in a 'daily standup' roundtable message, you may instruct them to talk about what they worked on yesterday, what they plan on doing today, and what issues are blocking their progress. |
3 | Invite specific people | Anyone who is in your Keep Posted account can be invited to participate by checking their name. Invited people will receive an email notification. |
4 | Invite new people | If someone is not yet in your Keep Posted account, you can invite them directly from this page. They will receive an email notification. |
5 | Invite via a link | You can invite people to speak on this message by sharing a link. This is useful if you want to make participation optional, or if you are inviting several people at once and it is easier to just paste the link into your chat system. Anyone who signs up through this link can record a clip for this message. |
