Description

Release v4.7.0.

It's a minor-version release since it’s more than just small bug fixes.

Here's what's going in:

Major features and improvements

Bug fixes and other changes

Checklist

  • Read the contributing guidelines
  • Opened this PR as a 'Draft Pull Request' if it is work-in-progress
  • Updated the documentation to reflect the code changes
  • Added new entries to the RELEASE.md file
  • Added tests to cover my changes

Looks good but are we missing the release note for the "click to expand modular pipeline" feature?

Also, as noted in #905 - we need to make sure this merges first since that PR doesn't currently have the release job in it.
