Meeting Activities

1. Discussed missing meeting procedures.
2. Discussed the requirements of and our process for estimation.
   • We agreed to use a variant of planning poker. The process is as follows
     • The story is read aloud.
     • Everyone has a few minutes to think about the story and write down a point for it.
     • We use a point scale of 0, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 20. Our Sprint 0 user story, with an assigned point of 8 was a good base line. 0: 'free' user story; 1, 2, 3: Significantly easier than Sprint 0; 5, 8: Around Sprint 0; 13: Harder than Sprint 0; 20: Needs to be broken down into smaller stories.
     • We then go around in a circle, starting with the second person from the last story.
     • Each person says their point, and the reasons why they felt that point was accurate.
     • After the circle is complete, we have a group discussion to talk about any differences.
     • We repeat until we have a consensus.
3. Used our planning poker process to estimate user stories.
   • After the first half of the user stories, we decided to change the process. Everyone took some time to go over each of the remaining user stories and write down a point and a justification. Then, we used the original circle method for arriving at a consensus.
   • Separated out admin page user story.
   • Separated out providing relevant feedback user story into SMS version for Adam and Web version for Jane.
4. Agreed to extend the meeting by half an hour to finish user story estimation.
5. Discussed entering data into Jira and submitting sprint 1.

1. Insert user stories and estimation into Jira.
   • Deadline: Monday, Oct 14th.
2. Insert priorities from Judy from meeting 2.
   • Deadline: Tuesday, Oct 15th.
3. Finish deliverables for Sprint 1 preliminary.
   • Deadline: Tuesday, Oct 15th.
4. Resolve any remaining issues with Jira.
   • Deadline: Thursday, Oct 17th.
5. Final confirmation of user stories and priority from Judy.
   • Deadline: Friday, Oct 18th.
