Animations are the core of Timeline. They are fixed-length series of keyframes and curves for targets such as controls, triggers, morphs and storable float params.
Animation names are important; this drives syncing across layers and atoms and triggers will use the animation names to do sequencing.
Animation targets are shared on all animations of a given layer within a segment.
