For panning don't you want Doesn't that work? |
let me check the code again... ah, theres a minor difference in this fork of the driver, let me undo it and see how things work |
yeah, now that I've manually updated it to the same code as this repo, its not having a problem, yres is 1024 (under the limit) and yres_virtual is 2048 (code doesn't limit it) its still showing symptoms of another problem, but my testing shows that they arent in the kernel side dd if=/dev/urandom of=/dev/graphics/fb0 bs=1 count=1000000 |
split_queue_lock can be taken from interrupt context in some cases, but I forgot to convert locking in split_huge_page() to interrupt-safe primitives. Add a new test case which performs double query of the bpf_mprog through libbpf API, but also via raw bpf(2) syscall. This is testing to gather first the count and then in a subsequent probe the full information with the program array without clearing passed structs in between. # ./vmtest.sh -- ./test_progs -t tc_opts [...] ./test_progs -t tc_opts [ 1.398818] tsc: Refined TSC clocksource calibration: 3407.999 MHz [ 1.400263] clocksource: tsc: mask: 0xffffffffffffffff max_cycles: 0x311fd336761, max_idle_ns: 440795243819 ns [ 1.402734] clocksource: Switched to clocksource tsc [ 1.426639] bpf_testmod: loading out-of-tree module taints kernel. how much work would it take to fix the 1200 pixel tall problem in here and add proper framebuffer panning?
its required for page-flipping to work properly most setups
