Meeting agenda:

  1. With Hadoop 3 now released by Apache and commercial distributions of Hadoop 3 expected this year, we can start a discussion around what ODPi will do regarding Hadoop 3. ODPi v3 - what is important to users in that spec and what do we need to do with BigTop to work with this? Should we use BigTop as our reference implementation? Do we need a reference implementation anymore? Should we move our test suite to another framework?

  2. Compliance tests less binary and more descriptive of where distributions are and are not in compliance with the spec. Advisory point of view. Should we add tests on some of the other projects? Spark, HBase, Atlas, etc?

  3. Deliverables / Time Frame

  4. Regular meeting schedule. Next week.

  5. Other people interested. Pauk Kent from SAAS Raj reached out to BigSQL team but still waiting to hear back.

ODPi Technical Feedback on whether we want to do a reference implementation? Alan Gates Getting other people involved? Saas Let's figure out how to move the testing. Raj
