Custom Firmware Settings

You can use the XMB and/or the Recovery Menu to easily handle CFW settings. Depending on your region you might have them in Game
or Extras
category.
However if you prefer you can also manually handle the settings yourself.
Settings and what they do (Some settings are model specific and will only show on models that it supports)
Name | Description |
---|---|
USB Charge | Allows charging via in all runlevels (PSP MUST BE ON). |
Overclock | Sets the CPU to 333MHz and BUS to 166MHz. |
Power Save | Sets the CPU to 133MHz and the BUS to 66MHz. |
Balanced Energy Mode | Forces the CPU clock to 222MHz and the BUS to 111MHz. |
Autoboot Launcher | Boot into Custom Launcher (ARK Menu) instead of XMB. |
Force Extra Memory | Enables high memory on all models besides 1K. |
Memory Stick Speedup | Allows caching to speed reading from Memory Stick. |
Inferno Cache | Enables cache for Inferno Driver, improving performance in some games. |
Skip Sony Logos | Skips Coldboot and Gameboot logos |
Hide PIC0 and PIC1 | Removes displaying PIC0 and PIC1 on XMB allowing quicker response time. |
Hide MAC Address | Hide MAC Address, will instead display base firmware, Model and Generation. |
Hide DLC | Hide DLC from showing up as duplicate games. |
Turn off LEDs | Turns off LEDs to save some power and/or not be blinding at night. |
Disable UMD Drive | Disables the UMD Drive to prevent homebrew from using it consuming power. |
Disable Analog Stick | Disables the Analog Stick.... yep. |
QA Flags | Tricks the console into thinking it has the `QA Flags` enabled. This makes the `Debug` settings appear in the `XMB`. Though pretty much useless, it still looks cool. |

Disable PSP Go Pause | Disables the pause game feature. |
Prevent hibernation deletion on PSP Go | Prevent user from deleting hibernation file. |
Old Plugins on PSP Go | Enables old plugins support on PSP Go (redirects ms0 to ef0) |
