- Approved and merged last week. Does this mean unit tests are not actually being run correctly in Github Actions?
Three new PRs for capgen
- PR 493: Capgen cleanup
  - Has some comments that need addressing
- PR 494: Testing updates
  - Needs to be merged after 493
- PR 495: Constituents
  - Needs reviews
No new Issues

Issue 42: Want Github Action to ensure standard names are following character rules
- Have started work on this, hopefully PR by next week
PR 43: Fix typo in standard names
- Merged, Mike K will work on getting correction into ccpp-physics and elsewhere
PR 44: Adding atmospheric composition variables for JCSDA needs
- Jerome claims that renaming o3 to ozone will not work for JCSDA (why?)
PR 47: Add CCPP metadata file standard name checking script
- Mike K approved, still needs another review

We were still discussing the possibility of an abstract base class at the end of 8/21 meeting, did we need further discussion on that?
