About The Pull Request
Commits a few changes to bring a better consistency to virology. Whether in the department benefit or not.
Why It's Good For The Game
Why the holomaps?
To snitch the biggest virology secret holomaps are the holy grail of making a quick disease. Breaking a single holomap apart gives Three t4 scanners. Enough to upgrade their scanner and incubator. Providing four times disease speed compared to round start rather early. This seriously nerfs virology to be frank, and closes one of the biggest knowledge gaps between veterans and newer pathologists.
Also it means less random machine frames.
Roundstart equipment
Virology can vary heavily map to map and big influence on each one is if they are given a pair of science goggles. And how many. Typically ranging from, none. To two pairs. Which is problematic. If chemists can get science goggles roundstart I see no issue with giving virologists science goggles when its the only way to see pathogenic clouds. And syringe is nice QOL saying you have to draw alot of blood whether from mice or people.
Virology chemical fridges
These fridges contain all the regrants needed for Virus rations and Sucrose Agar. Very helpful chems for their line of work, raising virus symptom chance and strength. The only way to give consistency here is to either give them their fridge, or pharmacy access. I'm sure this is the safer answer.
