Although we have outstanding issues (eg: OMPD/MYMPD), we can move them to v6.18 and prevent delaying v6.17 release any further. I believe we are ready to merge?

I started yesterday on working in wifidb to store values with single quotes instead of double quotes. It allows to only escape single quotes and backslash itself. I also though about then doing the needed escaping on the entered SSID/key automatically. So users do not need to take care this and we don't need to update info about this when changing methods. Only the manual entries, thus dietpi-wifi.txt comments need info about manual escaping then.

But this is properly something for v6.18 as currently it seems to work.

I see and remember some not fully verified network related issues, but lack final user replies about current beta and in other cases insufficient power related, it seems. So we could go through this here and in forum to sort them out, as network of course is mission critical. But indeed a quick walk through on mobile looks like there is no verified network issue open.

Nice that we managed to reduce code lines by nearly 1000 even that much new features were added 👍.

Yep, but i'll probably forget to update it 🤣, so by using https://github.com/Fourdee/DietPi/pulls?utf8=%E2%9C%93&q=is%3Apr+is%3Aclosed+base%3Amaster we don't need to change it, and only lists master pulls (99% releases)
