Welcome to DietPi wiki !

These pages are primarily intended for advanced users, those who wish to extend and customize DietPi images.

Scope

Gives an overview of Debian system features & planning and how DietPi implements/uses/configures them in a different and more optimised way than Debian defaults. Based on this, it offers an overview of the DietPi setup and boot process, its core system features and configuration options.
Gives a rough overview of the DietPi bash code, coding style and e.g. how to implement additional software install option.
