Policy (moving to RDA policy effort)
Despite notable progress in data sharing policies and practices, many restrictions are still often placed. Public release of data undoubtedly offers more value for the public and more widely distributed benefits of science. Of course, for personal data the issues of privacy, confidentiality, and informed consent need to be considered and protected. This group plans to document the challenges COVID-19-BH20 groups face and elaborate on the policy changes needed.
NEWS: Since the RDA launched a COVID19 WG that already has a large number of contributors and is also set to deliver on guidelines and policy. This is most effective to work in that group and bring the experience and view of this community there.
