Are there any plans to add CRAM support?

Currently VerifyBamID doesn't support CRAM, but this new tool could be used:
https://github.com/hyunminkang/cleanCall

You would run:
cctools pileup followed by cctools-verify

The pileup will use samtools to read the file and convert it into a new
format. While I don't believe that this new tool has been tested with
CRAM, samtools supports CRAM, so this tool should work or if it doesn't, it
shouldn't be hard to make it work with CRAM.
