What is this?

Fix for discussion 582

Why?

As per the maintainer's directive, there were some issues with discourse. Github Discussions seem to be preferred.

What's changed?

The documentation and links have accordingly been updated to Github dicussions where relevant, but some links to discourse are still retained for historical purposes.

I've checked via local build, and it looks good.

Thanks, yeah, I would definitely like to encourage people to use GitHub Discussions, though I still plan to keep the Discourse instance for the foreseeable future. I will make slight changes before merging it, to make it clearer in some places that GitHub Discussions is preferred.
