Facet creation and testing

Upload a work or edit an existing one
Tag the work with a unique identifier tag (I used "zzz")
Create a collection or edit an existing one
Tag the collection with a unique identifier tag (I used "zzz")
- (ScholarSphere 2.0 restriction only) Keep in mind you cannot actually set a tag on collections, type "zzz" into the description.
(SS 3.0) Add a keyword with "zzz"
From the homepage, use the search bar to search for your unique identifier tag ("zzz")
- You will be sent to the Results page and should see both the collection and the file that were uploaded and tagged.
On the left side of the page is the facets list. Open the "Object Type" facet and select "File"
This will keep the search parameters of "zzz" but only show the file tagged with it. Notice the collection is not showing
