Until we get a proper decision tool, we are using issues for our decision making process.
If you want to get a decision on something:
- File an issue labeled with "decision wanted".
- Mention the people you want a decision from (e.g.
@oemof/oemof-main
). - Set a date until everybody can comment or intervene within the issue (at least three weeks from the creation of the issue).
- In the last week, mention people personally in a comment who did not give any feedback (e.g.
@cswh
)
If you or one of your teams is mentioned in such an issue, please give feedback. Even if it is only a short "agreed".
- Everybody should scan the issues once a week.
- Use the search field with
is:issue label:"decision wanted"
(if there are a lot of issues at some point you can use additionallymentions:yourname
and/orteam:organization/teamname
within the search field).
