This PR adds a new feature to the extension that enables the current versions of records to also be stored in the history table - as originally suggested here by @mcesar

Both the normal and no checks variant have been updated along with some additional tests and test cases to cover off the new functionality. This is an enhancement and not a breaking change so existing functionality should remain unaffected.
