cmdargs-0.10.6 tarball claims to come from the future #1
Comments
Yuk, I think git changed my tar program to one that clearly has issues. I will try and sort that out. |
Nope, seems to be cabal itself. I upgraded to "cabal-install version 1.18.0.2 using version 1.18.1.2 of the Cabal library", and it broke generating the tarballs. I've just released cmdargs-0.10.7 use the old cabal, which hopefully fixes it. Let me know if you still have issues. |
@peti I also had the same issue in Hoogle, fixed in 4.2.25 |
CHANGES: 0.10.7 #1, fix timestamps in .tar.gz dist file ( #1 => ndmitchell/cmdargs#1 )
All files in the tarball uploaded to hackage have a creation date from 2051. This breaks the build, i.e. here: http://hydra.cryp.to/build/27364/nixlog/2/raw.
It would be great if the server would reject those kinds of uploads (see haskell/hackage-server#159), but unfortunately it doesn't.
