Action Items

• Update issue template to include a releng slack thread before mock (not just the post announcement) and fix typo s/release-management]/release-management
• Bump const for task count Archiving release step=11/10 (release stage, maybe fixed in 2300)
• Add link to role-handbooks/release-image-promotion.md in comment section of issue template
• Improve error message to include the ENV var krel expects (GITHUB_TOKEN or GH_TOKEN?) to be set for GH & update the image promotion docs.
• Improve krel announce documentation (to include send commands)
• Improve krel announce code to make --nomock more like the other ones (Y/n prompt) & make the mock announce more clearly a mock release (stdout)

Open Questions

• Is it worth exploring some sort of GitHub API rate limit check in k/release/cmd/krel/cmd/release_notes.go to avoid failing mock stages that traditionally take 50m? (example, existing issue, slack discussion, maybe fixed in v2 )
• Could krel include the promote-images exact command args in the PR?
