Joining the Team

If you have not read the Hack for LA's Guide for New Volunteers, please do so.
- Visit Civic Opportunity Homepage
- Look at The Team and Slack our Product Manager(s) with your Gmail address
- Join the Civic Opportunity Slack channel and introduce yourself to the channel
- Accept your Google Drive invite to access the shared folder
- Create Github profile/handle (if you don't already have an account) and message the #admin channel in Slack: "Please add [insert your GitHub handle here] to the Civic Opportunity Repo"
- Add yourself to the Team Roster and inform the channel once complete
- Message the channel for meeting invites and attend our weekly meetings on Mondays and Thursdays @ 6pm PST
- After you have successfully joined the team, discuss feedback on your onboarding process with the team and edit this page as needed
We use the GitHub Project Board to organize our work, please review our work in progress to get a sense of what everyone is working on, as well as looking at the board from the perspective of your role type
