Overview

The culmination of the Civic Opportunity Project will result in the creation of a less manual journey candidate process for volunteers. Each step will be evaluated for potential automation capacity and implemented based on a value/lift exercise. See Project Board for list of issues related to this initiative.

How?

Build automation components into the recruiting experience

Purpose

We will save time and efficiency by building software to expedite and personalize the volunteer experience process. We will also be able to scale much quicker as an organization.

Use/Application

Each volunteer will input information into data collection forms that will help to place them with the appropriate teams and personnel to get started. They will also receive suggestions based on their interests and milestones will be set to track their growth.

Lift

Identify and prioritize the steps in the volunteer recruitment process that could benefit from automation components
