What's new
- Complex execution strings can be set in the "execs" property
- example:
execs = /usr/bin/flatpak run --branch=stable --arch=x86_64 --command=retroarch org.libretro.RetroArch -L /home/usr/.var/app/org.libretro.RetroArch/config/retroarch/cores/snes9x_libretro.so
- example:
- All gmenu2x links can now be launched from SimpleMenu.
- applications such as "Terminal" or "System info" now work from SimpleMenu
- For this to work, they can be copied to either /home/.simplemenu/apps or /home/.simplemenu/games, and the .fgl extension should be added (and this extension should also be listed in those sections' ini files, if not there already)
- Fixed a cosmetic issue where the console was sometimes visible when launching things or coming back to the menu
- Fixed a cosmetic issue where the custom loading screen would sometimes be replaced by the default OD logo
- Fixed the Miyoo version, which was crashing when launched.
- Fixed running as default in rogue/stock

Instructions for a fresh install on Rogue / OD-BETA:
- copy the OPK to /media/data/apps or /media/sdcard/apps
- Run the menu once
- Check the different section groups and sections
- Exit the menu
- If you want to modify the different sections (emulators, rom directories, etc.) open the /home/.simplemenu folder on your PC and modify the section group ini files under /home/.simplemenu/section_groups
- Delete .simplemenu/last_state.sav
- Launch it again
Instructions for a fresh install on Miyoo consoles (bittboy, pocket go, q20, etc.)
- Extract the zip file to /mnt/apps/simplemenu
- Add a shortcut to the simplemenu executable in GMenu2x
- Run the SimpleMenu once
- Check the different section groups and sections
- Exit the menu
- If your are NOT using a bittboy but OTHER Miyoo console, edit .simplemenu/config.ini, comment out the current controls and uncomment the ones above them
- If you want to modify the different sections (emulators, rom directories, etc.) open the /home/.simplemenu folder on your PC and modify the section group ini files under /home/.simplemenu/section_groups
- Delete .simplemenu/last_state.sav
- Launch it again

What's new
- Several navigation bugs, fixed
- New property available in config.ini: set original_controls=1 in config.ini, to return to the old control scheme
- Cleaned up section_groups directory, pngs no longer included with default installs and it's now up to the themes to include them, otherwise, a default gray screen with the name is shown.

What's new
- Apps and Games bug fixed, which was causing memory corruption.
- New theme property, to show a default picture when the game doesn't have art
- Performance improvements, especially in 640x480 devices
- Themes now can define real coordinates, to save processing power and also make theming easier. 320x240 themes won't look right if put in the 640x480 folder
- 640x480 themes need to be updated by doubling their positional values and incorporating assets that are adequate for that resolution

- Fixed an Overclocking bug in the OD-BETA version.

- Not releasing Bittboy, OD or RFW at this point since there are no changes fot those (well, the Pico 8 feature may apply, not sure really, but I'm lazy today and, additionally, I can't test those versions currently anyway)

Known issues
- The first time it's loaded after a clean install, the section shown when the "Arcades" group is selected may not display the background correctly. Switching to a different section group and going back fixes it forever. Currently looking into it.

What's new
- New rom preferences menu, when pressing select.
- Roms can be set to autostart with the console, as if there was a game cartridge.
- Overclocking and emulator selection for roms is now saved between sessions.
- Sections can have a "fantasy name" set in themes. See Epic Cody's or Big Cody's theme.ini files to see how it's done.
- Sections can now show the game count in their logos/section cards (once more, see the new themes' config)
