@jughosta this backport originally failed in CI, so I pushed a fix without realizing it would automerge without an additional review. It's a small change and I reviewed it with the rest of the team in the dev sync today, but I was wondering if you could have a quick look at it too just to make sure I didn't accidentally merge something bad into 8.11: 1bf8b3c. If it seems good, I'll open up a PR for the same changes into |

…170288) ## Summary This PR is a cherry-pick to 8.12 from the backport PR #170187 including a very minor fix for `serializeRowHeight` to support `number` values.
