Describe the bug:
While changing rows per page under rule exception tab it hides the data for sometime.

Build Details:

VERSION: 8.5.0-SNAPSHOT
BUILD: 56410
COMMIT: 189196181c975b620ab18ea9d7662aa38d0e9294

Preconditions

  1. Kibana should be running.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Navigate to Rules tab.
  2. Select any custom created rule.
  3. Navigate to rule exception tab.
  4. Now, change the row per page under exception tab.
  5. Observe that while changing rows per page under rule exception tab it hides the data for sometime.

Actual Result
While changing rows per page under rule exception tab it hides the data for sometime.

Expected Result
While changing rows per page under rule exception tab it should not hide the data for sometime.

The flash is definitely annoying but there's no way to avoid a brief period of it not being there as we are having to do a refetch since it's not in-memory.

I tested with the rules table and it's the same thing, it does a quick flicker.

We have validated this issue on the latest 8.5.0-BC3 build and observed that the issue is fixed. Please find below the testing details:
