There were a couple of regressions in 24.7 that are still present in 24.7.1; it would be nice if we could have a 24.7.2 with those 😇

JFYI have seen some issues with re-rendering using conda-smithy, which go away when using conda-build version 24.5.1 and appear when using conda-build version 24.7.1. [...]

Looks like this would be addressed in PR: conda/conda-build#5458

I've raised a similar issue for this #5443, which should likewise be solved by #5458. The second PR that would be important to have is #5447 which fixes #5445 / conda-forge/conda-smithy#2012.
