The following paths are searched: /etc/sysctl.conf
, /data/etc/sysctl.conf
and /boot/sysctl.conf
, in this order.
They are used to configure the kernel parameters at runtime.
The sysctl
service will be run twice, once by /etc/init.d/S10sysctl
and then later by /etc/init.d/S79sysctl
to cover any key that were missing at first run.
See this for details.
