Motivation

We have a publication type that is similar to, but not the same as chapter called articles in books

Quick question about the “Articles in books” citation style type:
I’m looking at the following citations on the old site as a guide, and I’m not seeing outward facing differences (I could be wrong) from existing citation styles, which means this could be fairly simple to implement as an option to the select list. Is my deduction correct, or is there something I am not seeing?

Hu, Xiaoqian,
Vulnerability, Resilience, and the Fair Housing Act, in Re-conceiving Equality and Freedom: Vulnerability, Dependency, and the Responsive State edited by Martha Fineman & Laura Spitz (Forthcoming Routledge 2023)

Orbach, Barak,
Mandated Neutrality, Platforms, and Ecosystems, in Research Handbook on Abuse of Dominance and Monopolization (Pinar Akman et. al. eds. 2023)

Sklar, Tara ,
Digitally Enabled Medicaid Home and Community-Based Services, in Diagnosing in the Home, I. Glenn Cohen, et al., eds., Cambridge University Press (forthcoming 2023) (co-author, with Kathryn Huber)

Sklar, Tara ,
Health Law: Equity is Inextricably Linked to Health Care, in The Jurisprudential Legacy of Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg 207 (Ryan Vacca & Ann Bartow eds., NYU Press 2023) (co-author, with Kirin Goff)

Woods, Jordan B.,
Public Memory, LGBTQ (In)Visibility and Anti-Gay Violence: A Frame Analysis of Media Discourse on the Murder of Matthew Shepard 25 Years Later, in The (Mis)Representation of Queer Lives in True Crime (Abbie E. Goldberg, Danielle C. Slakoff, & Carrie L. Buist, eds.) (forthcoming 2023)

I found no mention of articles in books being different in the BlueBook style guide, however, I did find other citation styles that differentiate the article in book citation type. Examples APA, MLA

akbridges
correct, there isn't anything different about this citation style. It should really be as simple as adding it to the selection under publication types. The goal being that if you filtered by "articles in books" it would pull up all of those

Chris Green
OK, great thanks!

Chris Green
Next question, can I call it “article in book”? I know the plan is to display it as articles in books.

akbridges
sure!

We may need the patch located in https://www.drupal.org/project/drupal/issues/3347343 in order to filter the entity reference field using a view.
