Description of changes:

  • This PR includes Fis karpenter #210 , includes the changes to add FIS temporarily, while we release Spot invaders
  • All version have been updated to the latest supported ones, Karpenter to 0.16.1, EKS to 1.23, kubectl to 1.23.7, eksctl to 0.110.0, Helm to 3.94
  • Kube-ops-view get's deployed now from the 'konfiguration' directory as the old helm chart is deprecated and will not work with EKS 1.23
  • Contains a new Consolidation section that covers different configuration scenarios (Delete, Replace)
  • Cleanup method changed
  • cloudformation now uses python 3.9 for the lambda
  • Workshop requires now deployment of a cloudformation stack that deploys already all the dependencies, including cloud9, the eks cluster a managed nodegroup for the karpenter deployment. This reduces the length of the workshop and just focuses the workshop on karpenter and now on how to install EKS and set all the dependencies.
