Welcome to the CWSL_DIGI wiki!

Receivers

CWSL_DIGI v0.89 can use the following mechanisms to receive data from SDRs:

CWSL_DIGI is known to work with:

  • Any receiver that works with SkimServ and CWSL (up to 8 slices)
  • QS1R via Qs1rIntf.dll (up to 7 slices)
  • Stemlab Red Pitaya 122.88-16 (up to 16 slices)
  • Hermes Lite 2 (10 slices) via OpenHPSDR protocol 1

Other receivers that use the OpenHPSDR protocol 1 or that have Interface DLL's for SkimServ may work, but some functionality may be missing.

CWSL_DIGI v0.89 supports multiple receivers. For example, it is possible to use a QS1R and Red Pitaya together for 8+8+7=23 slices in one instance of CWSL_DIGI.

CWSL_DIGI v0.88 and earlier require CWSL and will work with any receiver that works with SkimServ and CWSL.

Configuration

CWSL_DIGI versions 0.89 and later use a YAML (config.yaml) configuration file. CWSL_DIGI version 0.88 and earlier use an INI (config.ini) file.
