Reporting an Issue/Bug

Welcome to the Issue/Bug Reporting page for the Telltale Mod Launcher. This is meant to help guide you on how to report an issue to us. If you happen to come across a bug, or an issue with the Mod Launcher. Please report the issue here

Reporting issues allow you to help us improve the application through increased stability and/or more features.

What to write when putting an issue

PLEASE write in a detailed and concise manner, explaining what the issue/bug is.

More importantly, you also need to be able to reproduce the error. You need to be able to reproduce the error that occurs, otherwise, it will be very difficult for us to track down the case in which the error you are receiving happens. If you're able to reproduce it, then be sure to write the clear and concise steps needed to be taken in order for us to recreate the error ourselves and patch it.

If this is an issue related to a file, be sure to also upload/attach the file to your issue report.

The more information you provide us about the bug/issue, the better it is for us to quickly understand, reproduce, and patch the issue.

Example Issue

This is an example of what we want to see in an issue. Of course the more information you provide us, the better. But this is just an example.

Issue Title: Can't add a mod file!

App Version: v0.5.0

I can't add a mod file. The mod is Load Any Level, version 4 which I got from here. https://github.com/droyti/LoadAnyLevel/releases/tag/v4.0-er1 I currently have the "The Walking Dead Definitive Series" Game Version selected.

My Game Executable directory is this

A:\Steam\twd-definitive\twd_definitive_edition\WDC.exe

And my Game Mods directory is this

A:\Steam\twd-definitive\twd_definitive_edition\Archives

The mod file is a .zip file with the following contents

  • _resdesc_50_Boot_LoadAnyLevel.lua
  • _resdesc_50_Menu_LoadAnyLevel.lua
  • WDC_pc_Boot_data_LoadAnyLevel.ttarch2
  • WDC_pc_Menu_data_LoadAnyLevel.ttarch2

Steps to recreate the issue.

  1. Download the attached mod file
  2. Open the mod launcher and select the "The Walking Dead Definitive Series" Game Version.
  3. Add the mod file to the launcher, and it prompts you with the error. "Can't add mod file!".
