The Esri Geoportal Server LiveDVD Demo lets you test out the Geoportal Server without installing or configuring. It runs directly from the DVD on your computer or in a virtual machine (VM) without touching your hard drive. Just boot and go.

A LiveDVD with a running Esri Geoportal Server.

  • A full copy of Geoportal Server software with sample metadata from ArcGIS Online.
  • Customized openSUSE Linux operation system with desktop links to Geoportal Server resources.
  • Preinstalled Apache Tomcat web server and MariaDB database configured to work with Geoportal Server.
  • Install to hard drive capability to use as a starting point for your own Geoportal Server.
