Researchers should spend their valuable time producing research, not reinventing the wheel when it comes to computational tools. The main goals of the project are to produce toolkits which are:
- Easy to use
- Easy to contribute to
- Highly customizable
- Collaboratively developed
- Interactive
In progress. The current three baseline steps are:
-
Produce a partial-equilibrium baseline example of the MicroDSOP notes, with modular code, API, documentation, and unit testing. Progress: [=========75%----] complete.
- Code [============100%]
- API [===========75%--]
- Documentation [=======50%------]
- Unit testing [=======50%------]
- (weights: .4, .2, .2, .2)
-
Produce a general-equilibrium baseline example of The Distribution of Wealth and the Marginal Propensity to Consume, with modular code, API, documentation, and unit testing. Progress: [====35%---------] complete.
- Code [=======50%------]
- API [=======50%------]
- Documentation [=10%------------]
- Unit testing [=10%------------]
-
Produce initial examples of a number of extensions from the baseline framework.
-
Implement a framework for publishing and providing credit, citations, and peer review for developing quality intermediate steps in the computational research process.
This wiki is a work in progress. One goal of this wiki is to provide useful, detailed, and easy-to-navigate documentation for the entire Heterogeneous-Agent Computation Project. In the meanwhile, we use it as an easy collaborative platform to record progress, discussions, and "assign tasks" to participants. We invite your revisions and updates.
