Summary

SUMMARY: None

Purpose of change

The recipe for the stone pot is largely nonsense, and it's role can be filled with the clay pot.

Describe the solution

Obsolete the stone pot recipe.

Describe alternatives you've considered

Adding in a recipe for the stone pot, but it would be an incredible time investment and almost certainly not worth it to craft, when you can instead make a clay pot.

Testing

Tests ran correctly.

The role of the rock pot can largely be replaced by the clay pot, and
it's recipe is largely nonsense.

What about characters that start with the stone pot? Would it be better to give them a clay pot instead?

It's not necessary, but could be done.

clay is waaaay more rare then rocks and survival is trained more easily then fabrication. this change just makes the start of the game harder for no real reason.

Here's a reason: The recipe for the rock pot was nonsense.

maybe swap it out for a stone frying slab or something then if you have such difficulty with it. so you have an option beyond hunt down some fairly rare clay.

i personally didn't find it ridiculous to consider that using a couple stones and some string to form a cavity in a third stone using a stone version of the wood fire drill or something. wouldn't necessarily be much but it would be better than nothing.

Clay is not rare, you can find it very easily if you dig a pit.
Yes, you can do that, but it will take literal weeks of work, which would make it entirely useless (the recipe was nonsense mostly because it took 20 minutes).
