Can't add server / type in OSX 10.14.5 #44
Comments
Small Question is it the beta 1.15.0.53? |
@ChristopherHX nope this is w/ 1.14.30.2, and this isn't random - I can repro by simply trying to type into text input during add-server dialog. |
Typing is fixed now, next auto build includes a fix. |
I'm unable to reproduce it on Mojave with 1.14.0.30.2 |
@ChristopherHX thanks for the quick response. I downloaded latest and still had the issue - however I found if I just went in and played a regular game w/o typing anything - then backing out and going back into the Network Game UI, I can actually now type! Everything else seems to be working great, thanks for your hard work on this - (my 9yo also thanks you) |
I reopen it, since I noticed this error randomly in the current master. Something ain't right on macOS |
Only one difference the errorlog now crashes on address -1 since my last patch. |
Hmm why is there a Nullptr on macOS, which cause the crash, it was non 0, then after start its 0 after playing a while again non 0. |
Improve IME cutting of textinput to match android
Please Test Textinput again after next update |
Yeah, it's been weird. If I clear all my data, go in and play a new world without typing anything (just pushing buttons) and then use keyboard nav once in-game, come back out it seems to usually fix the issue (but not always). |
ubuntu 16.04 confirmed to crash too. |
Crash reason not worth the effort |
Everything seems to work fine except when I go to add a server, I click into the text input and the second I hit a key or ctrl-v, it bombs out. Using latest launcher.
The text was updated successfully, but these errors were encountered:
