Up The Adblocking Power

The power of Pihole as a DNS Sinkhole is by blocking domains that are associated with ads and malware before the connection can be made to the client. It needs to be stated that Pihole does not actually crawl pages to block ads. You will notice on sites like Youtube that video ads are still being shown. To block these ads you will need to use an adblocker. We recommend uBlock Origin as an effective open source tool that can be run as an add-on in the browser.
