max-connections reporting wrong count #136

After upgrading from the previous version, gotty now reports a wrong connection count, making our configuration unusable. We need to set a max-connection count to 1 for different reasons, but in our setup now, one client connecting appears to be generating 2 connections, thus tripping the max-connections.
