Web-Math-Chat

A simple real time math chat web app built on parcel, bootstript and flask.

Usage

sudo docker-compose up -d

or 

sudo docker run -d -v ~/.mathchat:/root/mathchat -p 5000:5000 --name mathchat yingshaoxo/mathchat

Python Env

sudo pip3 install -r requirements.txt

Javascript Env

cd front-end_app
yarn

Reverse-Proxy configuration for HTTPS

Important!

Make sure your server Cross-Origin Controls is set to '*' to allow Cross-Origin Access

For flask-socketio, is to use flask_socketio.SocketIO(app, cors_allowed_origins = '*')

With Cloudflare

At the SSL/TLS tab:

• If you have your own cert or SSL or HTTPS: set it to Full. (So the Cloudflare will use your own https certification)

• If you only have an http server: set it to Flexible. (So the Cloudflare will add https or ssl to your website automatically)

• After that, go to DNS tab, set Proxied. (So the Cloudflare will start to work)

If you are not sure what you are doing, just go to DNS tab, set DNS only. (In this way, the cloudflare won't become a problem for you)
