Why does Obsidian crash during indexing with clever search?

This is usually due to the use of custom Excalidraw file extensions instead of excalidraw.md. As a result, these files are indexed as plain text, leading to abnormally large index sizes. Another possibility is an excessively large amount of text, such as several hundred million words, which exceeds the memory limit of the underlying engine of Obsidian during indexing.

What does the counter on the right side of the search bar indicate?

• In-file search: Current line number / Total number of matched lines
• In-vault search: Current file number / Total number of matched files
