In addition to the pre-existing DRAPE option, the PRP package now provides a DRY_TRACKING_METHOD option which configures how dry particles behave. This option accepts values DROP (default), STOP, and STAY. DROP indicates that dry particles should be dropped vertically until reaching the water table, if one exists below the particle. STOP indicates that dry particles should terminate. STAY indicates that dry particles should remain stationary but active. This option is highly relevant when the Newton formulation is used, since cells can be active but dry.
