Wren is first Wikihouse structural technology developed in the UK, initially for European contexts and climate. Its name comes from the small nesting bird (rather than the British architect), and is the first of many open building systems shared and developed on the Wikihouse platform.
Like the bird, the system is currently best suited for small/medium size dwellings or commercial studios between 1 and 3 storeys.
This wiki is the main source of documentation for designers, engineers, and developers working with (or contributing to) the Wikihouse Wren building language. If this is your first time hearing about Wikihouse, we recommend starting with the Wikihouse website
