Fixes #756. Also includes the following:

  • Improved types
  • Fixed issue where CJS types are masquerading as ESM
  • Added JS variant E2Es using Rollup to convert the (TS) spec files before execution
  • Standardised example apps where possible, fixed a lot of inconsistencies
  • Fixed some linting issues and updated linting conf
  • Updated dependencies
  • Deleted some unused dependencies and package.json fields
  • Slimmed down extended tsconfigs
