URL: https://m.aliexpress.com/?tracelog=wwwhome2mobilesitehome

Browser / Version: Firefox Mobile 89.0
Operating System: Android 7.1.2
Tested Another Browser: Yes Chrome

Problem type: Site is not usable
Description: Unable to type
Steps to Reproduce:
Cant type text in search field.
Maybe related to popup that shows on chrome but nof on ff mobile. While using chrome you cant use search while pop up is displayed. I tried using Firefox with and without ublock origin, problem happens in both cases.

Thanks for the report, I was able to reproduce the issue. The keyboard is not triggered when trying to type in the "Search" field.
BrokenSearch

Note: The issue is not reproducible on Chrome.

Looks like the input is disabled <input class="_34eUx _3e9e8" disabled="" value="" placeholder="ninebot max g30"> so the click event is not fired in Firefox. This is a case of https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1653882

As a workaround, clicking on a search icon will make the search work. We can try to contact the site and maybe an intrvention is possible here.

Looks like @alibaba is on github. Hi @ralf0131 and @yuanyan we have this report that is affecting Firefox on Android users, wonder if you could pass this along to a relevant person or team at aliexpress? Thanks!

This seems to be fixed, I'm able to perform searches now both on mobile and desktop, with or without Intervention.

Tested with:
Browser / Version: Firefox Nightly 103.0a1 (🦎 103.0a1-20220607093440), Firefox Nightly 103.0a1 (2022-06-07)
Operating System: Google Pixel 5 (Android 12) - 1080 x 2340 pixels, 19.5:9 ratio (~432 ppi density), Samsung Galaxy S8 (Android 9) - 1440 x 2960 pixels, 18.5:9 ratio (~570 ppi density), Windows 10 Pro

I've created the task in Bugzilla https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1773445
