@msporny I am not a process-geek... While I do not see any problems myself with the proposed text on the registration process, we may want to check this with those who are working on the process changes related to registries.

This being said, maybe this should be done once the WG has a consensus on the whole section, to avoid unnecessary interference. If that is the direction we choose (ie, involve outsiders later) then I am fine with the text

Yes, agree that we should wait for consensus from the WG -- I still think the process is going to change between now and Proposed Rec, so would want to see those settle in before taking it externally.
