Creating agenda page on wiki

Note that the folder structure of GitHub wikis is only available in clones.

  • In the meetings folder of the wiki, there are subfolders for each year.
  • Create a file for the agenda page in the appropriate year folder.
  • Note: file name becomes page title with spaces represented as dashes (-).
  • Name the file , using the format: MonthName-DD,-YYYY-MeetingName-Meeting.md
  • Examples for 2021 meetings:
    • January-28,-2021-Community-Group-Meeting.md
    • February-9,-2021-Automation-Workstream-Meeting.md
    • February-18,-2021-App-Development-Workstream-Meeting.md

After creating the page, add a link to it on the Meetings page under the heading for the month in which the meeting takes place.

Format of agenda pages

  • Copy format of existing pages.
  • There is one heading 2 for the section containing the agenda and a second heading 2 for meeting resources.
  • Agenda topics are heading 3.
  • Put a link to the minutes and any other meeting records under resources.

Minuting

  • The Thursday Community group meetings are minuted using the IRC channel aria-at and the RRSAgent and Zakim IRC bots.
  • Other workstream meetings can use the same approach or an alternative, such as a Google doc as long as it is publicly shared.
