In the new version 2.1, spell checking with Project word list does not work properly. All words inserted into the list still remain underlined.
In novelWriter-2.0.7-py3.10-manylinux_2_24_x86_64.AppImage, everything is fine.

I tested both with the AppImage and from source, and the word list feature works fine in both at my end. Keep in mind that the word list feature is a part of the general spell checking tool, so if you don't have any dictionaries installed, it is off by default and the word list feature doesn't work either. (Never mind, in that case it wouldn't be underlined, obviously.)
Did you check that the word list is still populated? The file format changed in 2.1, but it should be converted automatically. Also, you may have to refresh spell checking (F7). It doesn't always do that, which I'm looking into.
Thanks, F7 helps. In version 2.1, compared to the previous ones, refresh spell checking is therefore required after inserting a word into the Word list.
In previous versions, all I had to do was insert a word and save the list, the word highlighting changed automatically according to the list.
