Prize Collecting Steiner Tree based on Ant Colony Optimization

Prize-Collecting Steiner Tree (PCSTP) [1] problem solved with Ant-Colony Optimization for the discipline of Metaheuristics in Combinatorial Optimization of master degree at PESC - UFRJ.

In this Project an ACO algorithm was developed and compared with NetworkX Implementation [2] and also a Greedy Heuristic based on shortest path between terminals pairs.

Instructions

In order to run all experiments, first clone the project:

$ git clone https://github.com/viniciusdsmello/prize-collecting-steiner-tree.git

After that, it will be needed to create a Python Virtual Environment to install all required packages.

$ pip install -r requirements

With all packages installed, the experiments can be executed through Jupyter notebooks located at notebooks/ directory or through scripts at experiments/ directory.

Requirements

This project was developed to work with Python 3.7+, and all packages required to run the experiments are listed in requirements.txt file.
